Our story
Behind every business are real people, families, employees and goals. That's why we take the time to understand your business, your industry and what you're working towards.
Precisely Profit was founded by Lynda Hall, whose career began in credit management before moving into bookkeeping and financial management across automotive, building and construction, trades and not-for-profit organisations.
But Precisely Profit wasn't created simply because Lynda knew bookkeeping.
As a single mum, Lynda wanted greater financial security for her family and knew there was only so far she could go working for someone else. After experiencing what it was like to lose financial security and rebuild from the ground up, creating a profitable, sustainable business — an asset that could provide greater choice and security — became deeply personal.
Her time in the building industry also shaped the way she sees business. She loved watching someone's dream home come together and seeing all the skilled trades behind it. But she also saw talented business owners working incredibly hard while effectively creating themselves another job. They were busy. They were skilled. But they didn't always have the time or financial information to step back and build something bigger.
Being busy didn't always mean being profitable. Lynda wanted to help change that.
Today, Precisely Profit has grown into a team helping business owners manage the financial side of their business, improve the systems behind it and better understand the financial information they're using to make decisions.

Managing Director | BAS Agent | Platinum Certified Strategic Bookkeeper
With more than two decades of experience across bookkeeping, payroll and financial management, Lynda leads the strategic direction of Precisely Profit. Her focus increasingly goes beyond keeping numbers accurate to helping business owners understand what those numbers are telling them and use that information to make better decisions.
Operations Manager | Business Systems
David oversees the day-to-day operations of Precisely Profit and leads our Business Systems service. With an honours degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, six years' management-level experience in the automotive industry and more than 20 years running his own business, he brings both technical and practical experience to improving how businesses operate. His approach is simple: find where time and money are slipping through, fix the systems behind it, and make the technology work for the business — not the other way around.
Team Leader — Bookkeeping & Payroll
Shayla leads our day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll team and is one of the key connections between our clients and the wider Precisely Profit team. She holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and is continuing to develop her expertise to obtain her BAS registration and Diploma in Payroll. Shayla helps ensure client work remains accurate, organised and moving forward while providing the consistent communication and support our clients rely on.
Business Administration & Marketing Coordinator
Riffi supports our clients and team across business administration, marketing, communication and internal coordination. Working across the business behind the scenes, Riffi helps keep everything organised and supports the consistent client experience we want Precisely Profit to be known for.
Client Relations
Doug is part of the client relations team and takes his role in keeping the office welcoming very seriously. Whether he’s greeting visitors, checking in on the team or supervising from his favourite spot, Doug brings plenty of personality to Precisely Profit and is always happy to make a new friend.
